The Steakhouse at Shaftsbury Square, Cyberjaya.

If you happen to be in Cyberjaya and craving for some tender juicy steak, do give the Steakhouse at the Shaftsbury Square a try.

Hubby and I were debating about whether or not to eat at Kenny Rogers when we saw a huge Steakhouse ad. So we decided to give it a go. Coz... Obviously, if there's one thing that could end an argument it would be a huge picture of tender juicy steak, right?

The place in on the third floor of the Shaftsbury Square, right next to escalator. A nice young man greeted us and show us the table. Our table was in front of a big picture of Chef Zubir, the celebrity chef in Malaysia. Well, I guess the steakhouse belongs to him. Cool!

One can cook, another one reeeeeally cannot! Love you, honey.

The interior

The menu looks interesting enough. There's a bit of east meets west going on in there.

We decided to try the sampler plate for appetizer. It got cheese sticks, fried calamari, baked nachos and chicken wings.

I gotta say, the nachos are SOooo yummy. I polished everything in that tiny little iron pot there. And, please tell me where can I get those iron pot. I want one!

The kids love love love the cheese sticks dip in those mayonnaise. Well, I think those are mayonnaise. Looked like it, tasted like it too.. Only lighter. And yummier!

The fried calamari is a tad soggy. But the chicken wings is good. Sweet with a hint of heat. Not enough to burn your tongue tho, so if spicy isn't your kind of thing, don't worry. I'm channeling the Master Chef judges here, folks.

For the main course, I tried the NZ lamb shank Massala with rice. And hubby dear ate the baby lamb ribs while my boys ate the fish and chips.

Both my lamb and hubby's tasted good. I even love the veggies.

All was good except that our foods took awhile to be ready for some reason. Meaning, if your kids are anything like mine, you'll end up having to listen to them whine and complain until the food arrives. This is also the reason why I didn't get to take any pictures of the fish and chips because I simply cannot risk making these eating machines of mine wait any longer before they can eat their food just so I can snap some photos.

As much as I wanted to because the pictures in the menu looks sOOoo amazing, we didn't order any dessert because we were already full. Maybe next time.
